Parallel Parade
In this piece, we get a glimpse of an alternate reality parade as it's reflected in the windows of the city. This site-specific video work replicates the facade of the building on which the LED display is mounted to give the effect that the building windows are rippling.
Word balloons with positive messages float by, attempting to lift the spirits of passing pedestrians.
Occurrent Arts is an experiential arts team in Brooklyn, NY. They've been crafting different kinds of interactive works for forward-thinking clients and the public since 2011. Along the way, Occurrent Arts has developed a diverse portfolio of pieces; from digital sound sculptures for Google, to augmented reality experiences for the U.S. Air Force.
